How It Works
Travel, Taken Care Of
What it actually means to work with a travel advisor — and why it changes everything.
Planning a trip sounds simple until it isn't. Until you're comparing 14 hotel options with no clear way to tell them apart. Until a flight gets cancelled and you're on hold for three hours. Until you arrive and realize the "sea view" room faces a car park.
Working with Jaunt Around Travel means someone who knows the difference is in your corner before, during, and after your trip.
What we do
We plan, book, and manage travel on your behalf — from a long weekend away to a multi-week international itinerary. We work with hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and airlines to put together trips that match how you actually want to travel, not just what an algorithm surfaces.
Because of the relationships we've built with suppliers around the world, we're able to access rates, amenities, and on-property perks that aren't available to the general public. Room upgrades. Complimentary breakfasts. Early check-in, late checkout. On-property credits. These aren't guarantees, but they're the kind of value that comes from booking through someone who has a seat at the table.
What it costs you
Here's the part most people don't expect: in most cases, our services cost you nothing extra. Travel advisors are compensated by suppliers — hotels, cruise lines, tour operators — through commissions that are built into the published price you'd pay anyway. You don't pay more by booking through us. You just get more.
For certain complex itineraries, we charge a planning fee. We'll always be upfront about that before we start.
What the process looks like
It starts with a conversation. We want to know who's traveling, what matters to you, what you've loved in the past, and what you're hoping to feel on this trip. From there, we handle the research, the booking, and the details — and we're reachable if anything comes up along the way.
