This is my story

I'm iain! I am a traveler at heart and always looking for the next place to visit! I have been traveling both domestically and internationally since I was wee kid. You see, my parents are from the Glasgow area of Scotland.

I have traveled throughout the world. I have been to Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, and North America!

Beyond my travel, I spent five years working for Fodor's Travel Guides, where we would recommend the most amazing places to visit on this planet!

I want to use my extensive travel knowledge to help you plan the best possible trip!

Since 2021 I have done a number of different projects. I became a certified travel advisor in the past year; however, I have been doing informal travel advising for as long as I can remember. I love making memorable experiences for others. 2020-2018

Freelance Traveler

During this period I was working in a different industry, (digital web design) but I got to travel quite a bit. I visited China, Europe and the Caribbean. One of the most interesting experiences was in Shanghai, where I visited the Bund down on the riverfront. It is such an amazing city and highly recommend it

2011 - 2016

Fodor's Travel

Working for Fodor's Travel was a blast. I got to work with and get to know many travel destinations. I would take trips where my out-of-office message was like "I'll be back in two weeks, driving the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway)! I truly enjoyed working for Fodor's. Even when I wasn't traveling, I would be reading about traveling! I took a trip during this time, " A can't get there from here" trip to St. Kitts and Nevis, which was amazing!
